Avengers 4: Has Tom Holland ALREADY given away a big Doctor Strange spoiler?

Avengers: Infinity War ended with multiple Marvel heroes – Holland’s Spider-Man included – disintegrating into dust when Thanos collected all the Infinity Stones and initiated the Snap, thus wiping out half of humanity.

Now, as fans speculate on how the survivors will help defeat Thanos and potentially bring back their fallen co-stars, ScreenRant have picked up on a tidbit Holland might have given away months ago.

Speaking to Emergency Awesome ahead of Infinity War’s release, he and Benedict Cumberbatch (Doctor Strange) were asked about any difficulty in delivering their lines.

“He [Cumberbatch] has the most difficult lines though,” Holland said.

“He has to talk about so much Quantum Realm stuff. I just have to talk about, ‘Yeah, man, that’s awesome!’

“So mine is easy but his is so difficult.”

Harmless on the face of it, but the Quantum Realm was barely discussed at all in Infinity War – and given that it was filmed back-to-back with Avengers 4, it’s possible that Holland got his wires crossed and spoke about the wrong film.

The Quantum Realm has popped up in multiple fan theories about Avengers 4, especially after Ant-Man and the Wasp.

Holland is confirmed to be returning to the MCU immediately after Avengers 4, as his new solo movie – Spider-Man: Far From Home – is currently in production.

Cumberbatch too is confirmed to be back with a Doctor Strange sequel at some point, even though he too was seen turning to dust at the end of Infinity War.

The blockbuster is said to bring a “definitive end” to the current phase of MCU movies, kickstarting a whole new era.

Before that, Ant-Man and the Wasp still has to be released in the UK: fans can finally see it over here on August 2.

Captain Marvel, set in the 1990s, will then introduce Brie Larson’s Carol Danvers.

Avengers 4 is out on April 26, 2019.
