Deadpool 2 X-Men MAJOR cameos revealed – Does WOLVERINE appear?

Deadpool is more than entertaining on his own between the high-octane action, guiltily amusing violence and foul-mouthed banter.

A few cameos never hurts though and the Merc With The Mouth has pulled out all the stops this time.

Ryan Reynolds has never hidden his enthusiasm (Hugh Jackman might say ‘stalking’) for a Wolverine appearance, while Deadpool on screen (and breaking the fourth wall) has constantly moaned that budget limitations have prevented the appearance of any major X-men characters.

After the huge box office success of the first film, it seems all that has changed…

The movie hits UK screens later this week and the US on May 18. If you don’t want to know who cameos before then, look away now.

The first major news is that Wolverine DOES appear, but to find out how you will have to read our full report on the five Deadpool 2 end credits scenes.

During the movie, however, there is an incredibly cheeky scene involving not one, not two but a whole group of the current X-Men.

This time when Deadpool goes to the X-Men mansion, they are all at home, but what happens next is unlikely to made Wade any happier. 

In a meta repetition of his original meta joke, Wade once again complains that the film still can’t afford any X-Men.

The camera cuts to the next room, which is filled with everyone from Professor X and Cyclops, to Beast and Cyclops.

Deadpool is so busy ranting at the lack of anyone to meet him that he doesn’t realise they are right there. The unimpressed X-Men show what they think of their rather ungracious guest by closing the door before he sees them. 

Deadpool 2, of course, still includes his original X-men pals Negasonic Teenage Warhead and Colossus from the first film.

There are also some thrilling new additions to his budding X-Force team, from Domino, Bedlam and Shatterstar to the new fan favourite Peter. 

It looks unlikely the rather snooty main X-Men will be joining him any time soon.
