Emmys 2018: Kirsten Dunst glows in royal blue as she shows off voluptuous post-baby curves
The Emmy Awards took place last night, bringing together the biggest names in television.
The awards were held at the Microsoft Theatre in Los Angeles, California.
Among the stars on the red carpet was Hollywood actress Kirsten Dunst, 36, who made her return to the spotlight.
The stunning actress gave birth just four months ago but still had her post-baby glow.
Showing off her voluptuous curves, the 36-year-old wore a gorgeous deep-blue evening dress.
A creation of Italian fashion house Maison Schiaparelli, the stunning dress clung tightly to Kirsten’s enviable body.
Perfect for the summer evening, the gown featured strappy sleeves and a low-cut front, showing off Kirsten’s post-baby curves.
Cinched in at the waist, the dress then floated out, swishing romantically as she walked.
Through the sheer, royal blue overlay, a peep of Kirsten’s footwear was also visible.
The actress opted for a pair of purple, peep-toe heels with a thick platform base.
Looking every inch the Hollywood screen siren, the new mother wore her blonde hair in 1940s style waves.
Keeping the look classic, the wore a deep shade of red lipstick, needing little other makeup due to her post-pregnancy glow.
She kept her accessories simple with a pair of sparkling earrings and a few bracelets on her left wrist.
The Emmy red carpet marked Kirsten’s first red carpet appearance since she gave birth to her son, Ennis Howard Plemons four months ago.
She appeared on the arm of her partner Jesse Plemons, who was nominated for an award himself.
The star was nominated for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Limited Series or Movie for his work in Black Mirror.
The couple looked every inch the Hollywood power couple, with Jesse complementing Kirsten’s timeless look in a classic black tuxedo.
Other stars who wowed on the red carpet included movie star Scarlett Johansson, 33, America’s Got Talent judge and model Heidi Klum, 45, and star of The Sinner Jessica Biel, 36.
However, not everyone looked their best, with a small handful of celebs not impressing in the sartorial stakes.
Slipping down onto the worst dressed list was Chrissy Teigen, 32, Emilia Clarke, 31, and Poppy Delevigne, 32.
