WHY IT RATES: Host Agency Reviews is celebrating the launch of the new, more dynamic website with a weekly contest this November.—Patrick Clarke, TravelPulse Senior Writer

Host Agency Reviews is beyond thrilled to announce the launch of their new website, HAR 2.0. The website overhaul offers a dynamic user experience, responding to industry growth and to the increasingly sophisticated needs of prospective advisors, travel agencies, host agencies, franchises and consortia alike.

MORE Host Agency & Consortia

The new site offers greater functionality including:

—Sophisticated filtering function

—User profiles, including bookmarking favorite travel companies

—Direct communication between travel companies via email, call scheduling, and Q&A

—Enhanced company profile information

—Consortia profiles

Erin Cook, a travel agent user of the site, said, “I love how easy the new resources are to navigate for both new and seasoned agents alike. There’s something for everyone! Without HAR, I wouldn’t have found the best fit host agency for my needs as a new travel agent. I love my host and they treat me like family, a fit I couldn’t have found on my own.”

The new site is an indication that Host Agency Reviews––a site with over 60,000 visits/mo––will keep astride industry needs as they evolve. Regarding the site launch, Host Agency Reviews’ founder, Stephanie Lee, said, “HAR was the first website in the industry to offer a complete host agency directory that allowed agents to share their experiences with their hosts.”

“We’re proud to continue leading the way with the expansion into consortia profiles and a richer user-experience for both agents and travel companies. Keep your eye out, we have more features rolling out over the next few months,” Lee added.

Launch efforts include a HAR “Street Team” to help test the site during the month of November. Host Agency Reviews is also encouraging spirited engagement with the site via a weekly contest, with winners drawn every Friday in November. Users who join the contest will have an opportunity to win prizes, including a consultation with Stephanie Lee.
