Jurassic World end credits: Is there a post credit scene in Fallen Kingdom?

With a two hour run time, the rolling of the end credits of Jurassic World Fallen Kingdom might feel like a bit of a reprieve.

But for those who stuck around through the five minutes of text, they were treated to a post-credit scene.

Only one, unlike Deadpool 2’s whopping five post-credit scenes.

There’s no mid-credit scene to break up the list of names and the Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom’s post-credits teaser doesn’t arrive till the very end.

The final scene shows Jeff Goldblum gravely warning: we’re all in Jurassic World now.

The original Dinosaur Park on Isla Nublar is set to be destroyed by a volcano.

Owen Grady and Claire Dearing (Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard) thought they were on a rescue mission to save some of the dinosaurs.

The rescue mission was actually a black market auction for the new dinosaurs, with a hybrid dino described as an unmatched weapon.

Luckily, the ending of Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom doesn’t go well for the villains and the remaining dinos are released onto mainland America.

Ian Malcolm’s (Jeff Goldblum) stern warning does no good, and the population of mainland USA will now be entering a new world shared with dinosaurs.

As for any teasers about the next Jurassic World movie, the post-credit scene didn’t give any more information than the final moments of Fallen Kingdom.

But the post-credit scene of Fallen Kingdom featured an escaped pterodactyl soaring over the Eiffel Tower on the Las Vegas strip.

The only thing the scene hints at is what viewers already knew in the final scenes of the movie itself.

The post-credit scene was received as mildly underwhelming, especially in light of the way movies like Marvel use post-credit scenes to drum up anticipation.

Jurassic World 3 is set for a 2021 release date.
