Three years on since Mission: Impossible – Rogue Nation and Tom Cruise is back for a sixth outing as Ethan Hunt.

The official synopsis for Fallout reads: “When an IMF mission ends badly, the world is faced with dire consequences.

“As Ethan Hunt takes it upon himself to fulfil his original briefing, the CIA begins to question his loyalty and his motives.

“Hunt finds himself in a race against time, hunted by assassins and former allies while trying to prevent a global catastrophe.”

Aside from Cruise and Cavill starring, Rebecca Ferguson, Simon Pegg, Ving Rhames, Michelle Monaghan and Alec Baldwin are back.

Meanwhile Sean Harris’ Solomon Lane, the villain in the last outing, returns as a bearded prisoner.

It seems like he has unfinished business before Cavill takes over as the main antagonist.

Meanwhile Vanessa Kirby joins the cast in an unknown role, although she looks like another agent, seeing has she knows her way around a knife fight in this trailer.
