Queen Letizia, 46, stepped out in the Spanish sun today to enjoy a day out in Salamanca.

The stunning royal was with her husband, King Felipe, visiting a science park in the University city.

The royal couple’s trip was to mark the 30th anniversary of the “Magna Charta Universitatum” at the university.

Showing again just why she is called one of the most stylish royals in the world, Letizia wore a stunning white dress with polka dots.

The elegant dress came to just above Letizia’s ankles, showing just a peep of skin.

Long sleeved and high necked, the Spanish royal looked regal and demure as she toured the university campus.

In the light summer breeze, the dress’ light fabric swished in the wind, showing a peek of Letizia’s upper legs.

The geometric-print dress was by Spanish high street brand, Massimo Dutti, but is already sold out online. The dress cost just 89.95 euros.

Letizia is a known lover of high street brands, particularly Spanish companies such as Zara and Massimo Dutti.

Cinched in at the waist by a classic navy blue belt, the dress showed off Letizia’s tiny frame.

On her feetshe wore a stylish pair of suede navy blue pointed toe stilettos with an open back.

Keeping accessories simple, she carried with her only a small black leather clutch bag.

She wore her glossy caramel hair down and lose, and her signature makeup of pink and brown hues.

The couple were in the university town to visit the Pulsed Lasers Centre, viewing the “VEGA Laser”, a powerful Spanish laser.

The visit to Salamanca comes just three days after Letizia celebrated her 46th birthday.

Letizia’s affordable look was a stark contrast to the £1,230 outfit she wore out in Spain last week.

Meeting audiences at the Zarzuela Palace in Madrid, the mother-of-two opted for a favourite designer, Hugo Boss, wearing a skirt and top from the German fashion house.

The floral skirt had a blue, white and beige outfit on the pretty midi style.

The lilac top was made of a lightweight material and had buttons on the sleeves.

While neither pieces are currently for sale on Hugo Boss’s website, a similar top is worth £89 while a similar skirt costs £159.
