Sarah, Duchess of York looks stunning in white but is SLAMMED for wearing this in Dubai
Sarah Ferguson looked truly stunning last night as she attended a gala in Dubai. The former wife of Prince Andrew, 58, Fergie wore white and gold to the charity event. Altruistic, the redhead gave a speech at the Artists for Peace and Justice & Bovet 1822 Gala. She awarded prizes and posed on the red carpet with Tariq Al Gurg.
Her beautiful floor-length gown featured gold embellishment on the chest and forming a belt detail.
However, the mother-of-two to Princess Eugenie, 28, and Princess Beatrice, 30, made one fashion faux pas on the international trip.
In an image shared to her Instagram account Sarah posed with a camel in the desert.
Her choice of hosiery confused some fans.
Fergie wore a black skirt, black loafers and black tights.
One said: “I’m sorry but I don’t care what the royal rules are, I would not wear stockings.”
Another said: “Tights in Dubai really??”
One fan praised the look however, and wrote: “Seriously, I love how you are in super nice shoes and greeting camels!”
The Duchess visited Dubai via Abu Dhabi, giving Etihad Airways a shout out to her 159,000 followers on the social media site.
Last month Sarah Ferguson wore purple to the Claridge’s Christmas party.
-The event, Claridge’s Zodiac Party, was hosted by fashion designer Diane von Furstenberg and editor-in-chief of British Vogue, Edward Enninful.
Sarah Ferguson and the Royal Family has a history that goes back many years.
The Duchess recently gave an interview on Good Morning Britain with Piers Morgan.
Her body language was analysed, giving an insight into her feelings towards the Royal Family.
Judi told Express.co.uk: “When Piers announced he would be ‘grilling’ Sarah about the royals in the second part, Sarah’s body language suddenly became less assured and hugely incongruent.
“She raised her fists in the air in a gesture of celebration as though she was excited to be about to spill all the royal beans, but her pained facial expression was a denial gesture that suggested she was going to be more cautious than keen.”
