Star Wars 9 leaks: 'HORRIFYING' Darth Vader and Kylo Ren scene revealed?

It all started with a small pod-racing boy on Tatooine.

Surely JJ Abrams will give fans what they want and close out the nine-film saga with one last moment featuring Anakin Skywalker, in or out of that iconic black mask?

After The Last Jedi divided fans, Abrams has promsied to include as much prequel and original trilogy materal in Episode IX.

The latest leak describes a powerful but “horrifying” scene featuring Anakin/Darth Vader and his deeply disturbed grandson – who may be even more unbalanced after what is described here.

With filming already well underway at Pinewood and the nearby Cardington Sheds, there have been numerous reports of scenes between Luke Skywalker, Kylo Ren and Rey.

There have also been leaks describing Kylo Ren having a vision of Darth Vader and Anakin caught in a moment between the two incarnations.

But the new leak presents a very clear and very upsetting moment, indeed.

It says: “A description of Kylo Ren inside a medical room. He is walking down a hallways when he hears someone screaming in pain. He walks into another room where he discovers Anakin Skywalker/Darth Vader with his suit on but mask off, pinned to wall where heavy machinery is replacing his old mechanical legs and arms with new ones.”

“Ben walks closer to the Darth Vader figure in pain and examines his burns before a piece of machinery swings behind Kylo that eventually puts on the mask of Darth Vader.

“Kylo Ren turns around and exits the rooms and wakes from his sleep in his chambers almost mirroring the nightmare Anakin had in Revenge of the Sith.”

It is worth remembering how derided and mocked Anakin’s nightmares were in the prequel trilogy. Hayden Christensen’s acting did not convince fans but also the scripting and set-up was undeniably clunky and rendered what should have been a painful and powerful moment slightly ridiculous.

The new scene description also expands on the Vader glimpses shown in Rogue One where he was shown in his bacta tank just before Orson Krennic arrived.

Fans have always been fascinated to see behind the mask.

They are also adamant that they want more of the classic legacy characters in the final movie. The entire saga actually (chronologically) starts with Anakin and his fall. It would be fitting to further examine what it cost him and see if he can show his grandson the error of his ways before it is too late.

The entire saga is fixated on repeating patterns as the Force keeps trying to reestablish balance. Surely Anakin is at the very heart of that?

Of course, it is also important to remember that rumours and reports leak out in never-ending patterns and at the moment are impossible to verify. At the very least, though, they explore some of the themes and ideas fans most hope to see in Episode IX.
