Utrip, the travel planning platform that combines the best of artificial intelligence and human experience, today announced a new partnership with the Mexican State of Guanajuato.

This news follows the company’s recent announcement of multiple US-based destination marketing partnerships. It also represents Utrip’s first multilingual deployment.

“I’m especially excited about our new partnership with the state of Guanajuato,” said Gilad Berenstein, CEO and Founder of Utrip.

“We strive to make trip planning easy, enjoyable and personal for travelers, and this relationship is a big step in helping us further that mission around the world. While this is our first Spanish-English partnership, we now have the capabilities to offer the Utrip platform to our partners in any language. The team here at Utrip has also been working hard to roll out our latest version of Utrip PRO, and we’re thrilled to offer this enhanced product to our partners so that they can better engage with their customers.”

Through the collaborative partnership, Utrip is now able to provide travelers with both Spanish and English content, appealing to international as well as regional visitors. Guanajuato is also Utrip’s first partner using an updated version of Utrip PRO, the company’s flagship white-label product.

This new version not only has an enhanced, more intuitive user interface, making it easier for travelers to explore destinations and plan trips, but it will also offer Utrip’s partners more flexibility, helping them better leverage traveler profile data.

“Guanajuato is one of the most touristic states in Mexico with culinary international awards, that is growing with national and international leisure, business, honeymoon or family travelers. So this partnership with Utrip will help all kind of visitors to explore, and live more than 100 experiences in one destination, in their own language,” said Mtro. Fernando Olivera, Secretary of Tourism of Guanajuato.

Located just a couple hundred miles northwest of Mexico City, Guanajuato State is a major domestic tourist destination. In fact, San Miguel De Allende, a recognized place by The World Tourism Organization (UNWTO), was just named “The Best City in The World,” according to Travel + Leisure magazine.

Because of this partnership, the state of Guanajuato can now offer its visitors personalized travel recommendations based on their own preferences.

Whether they are interested in history, the arts, the outdoors or some of the many food options in Guanajuato, travelers can effortlessly create highly-personalized, day-by-day itineraries, complete with lodging options and activity recommendations.
