WWE news: Roman Reigns linked with EPIC feud against top RAW star after Hell in a Cell

Reigns finally won RAW’s premier championship at SummerSlam two weeks ago when he ended Brock Lesnar’s whopping 504-day title reign.

The Big Dog is now scheduled to put the belt on the line at Hell in a Cell on September 16 at the AT&T Center in San Antonio, Texas against Braun Strowman, who agreed to cash in his Money in the Bank contract.

According to the Daily Mirror, Justin Barrasso of Sports Illustrated claims the Universal Champion will beat Strowman inside ‘Satan’s structure’ and will then get embroiled in a fresh feud against McIntyre.

The Scottish bruiser is one of WWE’s most exciting rising stars and has been earmarked as the favourite to become the first ever British world champion.

The Scottish Psychopath has been looking for redemption in WWE ever since his shock return to the main roster four months ago after an unceremonious exit in 2014.

The British superstar joined Smackdown in 2009 and quickly climbed up the ranks as he won the Intercontinental Championship and was publicly endorsed by the promotion’s Chairman Vince McMahon as a future world champion.

McIntyre though never truly lived up to the hype of The Chosen One and was released from the company after a poor stint at 3MB.

But after returning to the independent scene and standing out at Impact Wrestling, McIntyre reinvigorated his career and returned to WWE where he wrecked havoc in the developmental brand and became NXT Championship last year after defeating Bobby Roode.

However, it doesn’t look like he will be Universal Champion any time soon as WWE look to establish Reigns as the company’s top star and could give him a lengthy reign as champion.

The Big Dog is one of the most polarising figures in WWE as he still divides the fans’ opinion and receives more jeers than cheers.

The Universal Champion is technically in a feud with McIntyre already as he recently reformed The Shield with Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose who have unfinished business with the Scotsman and his associate Dolph Ziggler.

Ambrose returned to RAW almost a year after suffering an arm injury and helped Rollins regain the Intercontinental Championship from Ziggler at SummerSlam.

The Showoff and McIntyre have formed a daunting alliance with Strowman who turned heel last week on RAW and helped the duo launch a savage attack on The Hounds of Justice.

The Shield will look for revenge at WWE Super Show-Down on October 6 at the Melbourne Cricket Ground in Australia where they will face The Monster Among Men, Ziggler and McIntyre in a Six Man Tag Team Match.

The two teams also had a little scuffle during a live event at The O2 in London two days ago after Reigns beat Strowman via disqualification.
