WWE news: The Rock reveals if he will return at WrestleMania 34
Dwayne The Rock Johnson has been linked with a surprise WrestleMania return at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome but it seems like he will once again be absent.
Reports suggested he was WWE’s top pick to team up with Ronda Rousey and take on Triple H and Stephanie McMahon.
That would make sense as The Great One and Rousey embarrassed McMahon and Triple H at WrestleMania 31.
It was also rumoured that The Brahma Bull would also feature in a concert segment with Elias.
Bookies have also been expecting him to come back and even have a match.
However, The Rock seems to have quashed speculation by stating that he won’t play any part tonight.
The 10-time world champion told entertainment reporter Chris Van Vliet as he was promoting Rampage: “You will not see me there.”
He then joked about teaming up with co-star Jeffrey Dean Morgan for a WrestleMania match.
WWE are well known for bluffing when it comes to a big-name return but, as it stands, The Rock won’t be making a comeback in New Orleans.
The ex-WWE Champion has had some unforgettable battles at WrestleMania against the likes of Stone Cold Steve Austin, John Cena and Hulk Hogan.
