WWE RAW: Ronda Rousey brutalises Stephanie McMahon AGAIN after SummerSlam triumph
McMahon tried to take credit for Rousey’s success in WWE during the UFC legend’s title celebration at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York.
The first ever UFC Women’s Bantamweight Champion, however, insisted the RAW Commissioner had nothing to do with her triumph last night and praised her fellow wrestlers in the women’s division who were watching from the ring apron.
McMahon then told all of the female wrestlers that Rousey wants nothing more than to break their arms but The Baddest Woman on the Planet said she will only take out those who deserve it.
The WWE supremo said: “Don’t let her fool you, she wants to wipe all of you out so that ‘Rowdy’ Ronda Rousey can stand here in the spotlight. That’s who Ronda really is.”
The MMA hero had enough of the ex-Women’s Champion’s tirade as she knocked her down and locked in the Armbar.
Rousey and McMahon have a lot of history with each other as the UFC Hall of Famer and The Rock embarrassed the former Smackdown General Manger and her husband Triple H at WrestleMania 31.
‘Rowdy’ also annihilated the power couple on her in-ring debut at WrestleMania 34 where she teamed up with fellow Olympian Kurt Angle.
Rousey proved she is championship material that night at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome in New Orleans, Louisiana as she showed tremendous technique, power, athleticism and charisma in the ring.
That led to WWE awarding her with a RAW Women’s Championship Match at Money in the Bank against former title-holder Nia Jax.
The Baddest Woman on the Planet won via disqualification after Alexa Bliss interfered and cashed in her Money in the Bank briefcase on Jax to regain the belt.
Rousey and Bliss got embroiled in a heated rivalry afterwards that saw the former being slapped with a 30-day suspension after powerbombing The Goddess through a wooden table.
When her suspension expired she destroyed Little Miss Bliss at SummerSlam and became the first ever athlete to be crowned UFC and WWE Women’s Champion.
Rousey is now preparing for WWE’s first ever all-women’s Pay-Per-View event Evolution which takes place on October 28 at the Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum in Uniondale, New York.
She has been linked with a feud against reality star and two-time Divas Champion Nikki Bella as WWE want to attract some mainstream attention to their groundbreaking show.
However, tonight’s incident could reignite her rivalry with McMahon and the two could collide again at some point in the near future.
