Nabil Fekir decision
Lyon star Nabil Fekir has split from his agent Jean-Pierre Bernes.
The France international, 25, was on the brink of joining Liverpool last summer and was even pictured wearing a Reds jersey only for medical complications to scupper the deal.
The Mirror claim Bernes’ inability to resurrect the deal led to the pair barely speaking for months before eventually parting ways.
“I terminated the contract on Thursday,” said Bernes told radio station Europe 1. “It was a choice [Fekir] took. He will certainly look for another agent.
“Like all human relationships, from time to time you can have a difference of opinion on someone’s future or their behaviour.”

Wanted: Wilson & Kent
Leeds are interested in signing two Liverpool youngsters this summer.
That’s according to Football Insider, who claim Leeds are targeting Harry Wilson and Ryan Kent if they secure promotion to the Premier League.
Wilson, 22, impressed for Hull last season and has replicated his exceptional Championship form for Frank Lampard’s Derby this term scoring 14 goals and providing four assists.
Kent, meanwhile, is reported to have been made available for £7million and has no shortage of suitors after a good season at Rangers with Steven Gerrard.

Liverpool identify Salah replacement
Liverpool are preparing for life without Mohamed Salah, French outlet Le10 Sport claim.
Reports in Spain this week said Salah is keen to quit Anfield this summer, however, the Egyptian’s agent has since denied those claims.
However, Le10 Sport reckon Liverpool are on the hunt for a replacement should Salah decide to quit.
And Lille star Nicolas Pepe tops their shortlist, with Chelsea and Barcelona also eyeing the winger.
Silverware needed…
Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp knows he is running out of time to fulfil his promise of winning silverware in his first four years in charge.
Klopp took over at Anfield in 2015 and said at his introductory press conference he needed to win a trophy quickly or his next job “may be in Switzerland”.
The Reds have a chance to deliver as they remain locked in a tight title race with Manchester City and have reached the semi-finals of the Champions League.
“A lot of people reminded me that when I first came here I signed a three-year contract and I said in four years if we’re sat here we probably would have won something,” Klopp said.
“It didn’t happen yet. Both sides, the club and myself, have a wonderful commitment that we really try everything to make the club as successful as possible. How long will it take? I have no clue.”

The nominations…
Premier League title rivals Liverpool and Manchester City dominate the six-man shortlist for the Professional Footballers’ Association Player of the Year award, with Virgil Van Dijk and Raheem Sterling the front-runners.
Centre-back Van Dijk joins Reds team-mate Sadio Mane on the list, while England forward Sterling is included alongside fellow City players Sergio Aguero and Bernardo Silva.
Chelsea’s Eden Hazard completes the nominees for the 2018-19 campaign, with the winner scheduled to be announced on Sunday, April 28 at the PFA’s annual awards ceremony in London.
City duo Sterling and Silva, both 24, also make the shortlist for the Young Player of the Year award. They are joined in that category by Liverpool defender Trent Alexander-Arnold, West Ham midfielder Declan Rice, Bournemouth winger David Brooks and Manchester United striker Marcus Rashford.

Pressure or praise?
Pep Guardiola has sent a heartfelt tribute to pile the pressure on Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool after Manchester City went back to the top of the Premier League table.
City beat Tottenham 1-0 at the Etihad on Saturday as they leapfrogged Liverpool back to the top of the table.
And Guardiola has waxed lyrical about his side’s title rivals with a statement which puts the onus on them to keep performing.
“We’ve been on a remarkable run, playing against an incredible team like Tottenham and fighting for the Premier League with the best Liverpool team ever, one of the best teams I’ve seen in my life,” Guardiola said on Saturday.
