James Bond 25: INCREDIBLE stunt 'leaves car DESTROYED' in scene for Daniel Craig movie

Production on the still untitled caper – known to be Daniel Craig’s last as the super-spy – has been ongoing since April.

Reports have now said an almighty car stunt was being shot in the Scottish highlands yesterday, leaving a luxury motor in tatters.

According to The Sun, a grey vehicle was seen being flipped in front of another 4×4 at high speed, before falling onto grass and landing on its roof.

A source told the paper: “It was an amazing thing to see.

“You could just hear the motors then suddenly a massive crash. It sounded like a car being flattened at the scrap yard.

“They could only do the stunt once as the car was completely wrecked.”

They added: “There was a drone and helicopter capturing the shots.”

Craig was not seen on set for this specific scene, but he has recently been spotted nearby, as production continues on the Ardverikie Estate on the shores of Loch Laggan in Inverness-shire.

As reported earlier this month, that was the same location for legendary BBC drama Monarch of the Glen.

Speaking to the BBC, the Highland Council’s film office did not directly reference Bond 25, but said it helps to accommodate a number of productions on a regular basis.

Meanwhile, in other Bond 25 news, it’s been claimed that Craig is keen to get Ed Sheeran on board to record the theme song.

According to the Sunday Mirror, his daughter has made him a fan of the serial chart-topper; and now he could be in line to get the job.

“Daniel was introduced to Ed’s music by his daughter Ella,” a source told the paper.

“She loves Ed, and Daniel now really likes his stuff too and wants Ed for the theme tune.”

They added: “There was talk of Adele doing it again as her song was such a major hit, but Ed is under serious consideration.

“Daniel is not just the lead actor on the movie but also one of the producers, so he has huge sway over every aspect.

“The sticking point is that Ed translates more to a younger generation, while Adele was more across all ages – so there are other artists they’re also looking at.”

Bond 25 is out in April 2020.
