Tess Daly: Strictly Come Dancing host puts on a leggy display in a stunning £1445 dress

Tess Daly is an English model and television presenter who is the host of Strictly Come Dancing along with Claudia Winkleman, 47. Tonight, she appeared on screens for the opening show of the new series of Strictly, where the celebrity contestants will find out who they are partnered up with. For the show, the stunning blonde dressed for autumn in a long-sleeved dark blue dress. She was spotted with Claudia as they hosted the launch episode of the show.

Tess kept it classy with a floor length wrap dress which pulled her in at the waist.

The fitted design had a cross at the top and a small v-neck with padded shoulders and long sleeves.

Her gown continued down to the floor but the presenter flashed some leg from a slit up the left side of the garment.

The stylish presenter wore the luxurious Alexandre Vauthier dress, which is currently on sale for £1,445.

Adding some ballroom glamour to the ensemble, the former model paired the look with some closed toe glittery silver high heels.

Tess matched her elegant look with equally glamorous makeup, opting for large sweeps of blue eyeshadow and lashings of mascara.

She styled her blonde locks into a middle parting and wore them down with a loose wave.

The star, whose full name is Helen Elizabeth Daly, originally comes from from Stockport.

She has co-presented the show since it first began 15-years-ago in 2004. 

Before her television career began, she worked as a model and old photos show she has been through a huge transformation.

Scouted at just 18-years-old, she began modelling and took a job in Tokyo before working across Asia and Europe.

After a few red carpet interviews, in 2000, she sent a showreel to the producers of Channel 4’s The Big Breakfast.

Made in Chelsea star, Jamie Laing, was set to appear in the new series of Strictly Come Dancing but it he was forced to pull out.
