Melania Trump style: Best outfits worn by the First Lady in 2019
Melania Trump, 49, worked as a fashion model before getting married to the President of the United States Donald Trump, 73. It is well known that the First Lady of the United States has a particular love for designer clothes and labels, but with the end of the year only a day away, what are some of the best 2019 looks of FLOTUS?
Melania is always impeccably dressed when she steps foot outdoors or attends public events and political functions.
Her love for designer labels and designer brands is apparent as she has stepped out in a number of show-stopping looks this year.
She has worn ensembles from Dolce & Gabbana, Michael Kors and Balmain to name a few. Her favourite heels – which she has recycled and worn on several occasions – are a pair of Manolo Blahnik black high-heel pumps which usually retail for $625 (just short of £500 in the UK).
Melania has always made an effort with her appearance and fashion choices.

1. February 2019
Melania Trump attended the Venezuelan American community at Florida International University Ocean Bank Convocation Center in Miami, Florida, on February 18, 2019.
For the day the stylish First Lady opted for a floral-printed shirt dress by Gabriela Hearst and a pair of red crocodile print stiletto high heels.
2. March 2019
On the March 7, 2019, US President Donald and First Lady Melania welcome Czech Prime Minister Andrej Babis, and his wife, Monika Babisova, in the Oval Office at the White House in Washington, DC. For the occasion, Melania chose to wear an emerald green leather trench coat by Alexa Chung and a pair of tan suede heels.

When the First Lady accompanied the US President to an Rx Drug Abuse and Heroin Summit on April 24, 2019, the former model decided to wear a gorgeous white with black polka-dots dress by Alessandra Rich. She chose to accessorise the dress with a thick brown belt and a pair of matching brown court heels.
4. May 2019
When Melania accompanied the US President on board the Japanese Maritime Self-Defence Force’s helicopter carrier at JMSDF Yosuka base in Yokosuka on the 28th May 2019, the First Lady was impossible to miss in a bright orange and white printed trench coat and a pair of attention-grabbing yellow heels. The printed trench coat is by Dries Van Noten.

At the official launch of the Trump 2020 campaign in Orlando, Florida on June 18, the First Lady looked stylish in a canary yellow wide-legged belted jumpsuit by Ralph Lauren and a pair of yellow matching heels.
6. July 2019
To celebrate the Independence Day in the US on July 4, the 49-year-old former model opted to wear a midi-dress by Carolina Herrera featuring rainbow-coloured stripes and asymmetrical sleeves, for the occasion.
She paired the dress with some attention grabbing hot-pink stiletto heels.
7. August 2019
At the G7 Summit held in France, on 25 August 2019, the First Lady looked effortlessly glamorous in a bright red Alexander McQueen dress and a pair of red stiletto heels.
8. September 2019
When the US Presidential couple played host to Australian Prime Minister Scott Morrison and his wife, Jenny Morrison at the White House in Washington, DC, on September 20, 2019, Melania opted for a pale blue figure-hugging Scanlan Theodore dress and a pair of cream court heels.

For a social dinner held at the White House on October 7, 2019 in Washington DC for senior military leaders and their partners, the First Lady stood out in her colourful ensemble in a sea of dark tones.
