The fashion expert predicts the Duchess of Sussex could be looking to capitalise on her fame with a fashion line.

“Meghan’s evolving, deliberate style always showed that she meant business and in 2020, should she be permitted to step back from royal duties and spent her time shuttling back and forth between the UK and Canada, we’re likely to see her either returning to her career on the big screen or continuing to develop her fashion lines,” Caroline said.

Meghan’s style differs to her royal counterpart Kate Middleton’s, according to the stylist.

“She prefers a more tailored, deliberate look at all times and was always keen to make her own impression; choosing to avoid the soft femininity exuded by Kate with her floral dresses and blouses,” she explained.

“Instead, she has always opted for crisp, white shirts and fitted trousers and dresses.

“For the launch of her Smart Works collection, she chose a pared down white shirt and black trouser ensemble. While not being an obvious choice, it shows her versatility and love of the button-down shirt, which is not always an easy piece to wear smartly.”
