Camila Cabello UK tour: Former Fifth Harmony star announces concerts – ticket info HERE
The chart-topping singer, formerly of Fifth Harmony, will grace our shores in June with the Never Be The Same Tour.
The three UK shows include stops at Glasgow’s O2 Academy on Tuesday, June 5; Birmingham’s O2 Academy on Wednesday, June 6; and London’s O2 Academy Brixton on Tuesday, June 12.
Tickets are on sale from 9am this Friday, February 16, and will likely be in high demand.
It’s been a huge year already for the singer, who simultaneously topped the USA’s Billboard Hot 100 singles and Billboard 200 albums charts.
Her track Havana was also a No1 in the UK and has already been certified Platinum, while her self-titled LP was a British No2.
She’s also built up a huge fanbase with Fifth Harmony; ascending to No2 in 2016 with Work From Home.
Havana was, she recently disclosed, written over sushi. She said in an interview that producer Adam Feeney played her the instrumental sample and she wrote the lyrics on the spot.
“There’s not another artist in the world who could have done that song — she just owns it,” Feeney told the New York Times.
There was less joy for fans of Crying in The Club, her debut solo single, which was ultimately ditched from the album.
“The reality of that song is it doesn’t feel or sound like Camila,” said Roger Gold, Cabello’s manager.
“The most important learning in this whole thing was that we were most successful when Camila trusted in her own instincts.”
