Royal Wedding: Dress code means Kate Middleton will definitely wear THIS item

Meghan Markle, 36, and Prince Harry, 33, will marry in May in a lavish ceremony.

The entire Royal Family will be in attendance, including Kate Middleton, 36, who will have given birth just weeks earlier.

One of the most photographed women in the world, many are wondering what the Duchess of Cambridge will wear to the event.

Always impeccably dressed for every occasion, Kate will be keen not to steal the limelight from her new sister-in-law.

And now the dress code has been revealed and gives a big clue as to what Prince William’s wife will wear on the day.

The Royal Wedding dress code for guests attending the ceremony is uniform or a morning coat or lounge suit for the men.

Women are asked to wear a day dress, with stipulations they must wear a hat.

Kate is a fan of headwear, and chose a stunning nude creation for the biggest wedding of 2017, that of her sister, Pippa Middleton.

The sculpted rose-topped hat was by milliner Jane Taylor, and Kate may turn to the designer for Meghan and Harry’s wedding.

Speculation is rife over who will design Meghan’s wedding dress, with Alexander McQueen, Erdem, and Roland Mouret all predicted.

But bookies believe they know who has been chosen, with Ladbrokes claiming Meghan has “made her mind up”.

Betting has been suspended on the wedding dress – with Ralph & Russo at 1/3 for the favourite, followed by Erdem (3/1), Roland Mouret (4/1) and Victoria Beckham (6/1).

“It looks as though Meghan’s made her mind up as far as her dress is concerned, so we’ve decided to pull the plug for the time being,” explained Alex Apati of Ladbrokes.

So which designer will it be? Betters’ favourite Ralph & Russo, a British fashion designer who created Meghan’s £56,000 engagements photos dress, are believed to have been “chosen”, according to reports from a royal insider.

The label, famous for their haute couture, were “chosen” by the LA born actress earlier this month, a royal insider told the Daily Mail.

Prince Harry, meanwhile, is expected to marry in full military dress as his brother did in 2011.

Many grooms wear suits, but ex-members of the armed forces are allowed to wear a uniform.

Prince Harry was a cornet, lieutenant and captain – and can wear The Blues and Royals, which he wore at the Kate Middleton’s wedding.

A royal expert spoke about his possible choice of attire on Lorraine earlier this year.

She said: “Harry might choose not to wear his uniform and say everyone wear a morning suit – like Prince Edward did. However, I think he will be in the uniform of a Blues and Royals captain.”
