Chelsea news: Antonio Conte slammed live on Sky Sports – it is all his fault

Conte’s long-term future at Chelsea looks in serious doubt.

The Blues boss has been publicly frustrated at the club’s transfer business ever since he won the Premier League title in his debut campaign.

There have been plenty of problems on the pitch as well as off it, with Chelsea set to miss out on Champions League qualification.

Following last night’s disappointing 1-1 draw with Huddersfield at Stamford Bridge, Conte dodged questions about his future at the club.

Warnock says that is a telling sign the Italian is keen on leaving the club.

And the former Blackburn left-back believes Antonio Conte would have known about Chelsea’s transfer policy before he became manager.

“He’s brought it upon himself with his attitude in press conferences, the way he speaks,” Warnock said on Sky Sports.

“His answer there when he’s asked about his future next season and ‘will you be Chelsea manager?’. Well if he wants to be there, he says yes. It’s as simple as that.

“He avoids the question, he doesn’t want to answer it. So for me it tells me he wants to leave the club.

“He’s not happy with the transfers that have been done this season, he’s very disappointed at that, he’s made that public.

“But, going into the Chelsea job, you know that’s their setup. You know that’s how they operate.

“So going in there, accept what you’re given and get on with it and they’ve spend a fortune as well.”
