ABBA: Bjorn Ulvaeus gives HIS verdict on Theresa May’s Dancing Queen moves
Bjorn said: “It made the news, even in Sweden.
“I think she was very brave in doing that.
“It’s a lady with not a lot of rhythm in her braving and doing something like that.
“I was kind of touched actually.”
Next year ABBA are expected to go back on tour as holograms, which will see them appear as they did in 1979.
Bjorn teased: “We’ve written a new song and recorded that and this will be sung by those digital twins.
“It’s been delayed. It was supposed to be released this autumn, but [it will] probably be in the beginning of next summer.”
Meanwhile, this September a special documentary will see their new song I Still Have Faith In You performed, while second track Don’t Shut Me Down will be seen on their hologram tour.
Bjorn previously said: “You’ll hear the voices of ABBA coming out of the mouths of the Abbatars.
“You won’t be able to see that they’re not human beings. It’ll be spooky, I assure you, but great fun and no one has done it before.”
There has not yet been an announcement about when tickets will go on sale.
Tickets may not even be released for another year if the tour is to take place in 2019 or 2020.
