Avengers 4 TITLE ‘has changed at least THREE times THIS year’ claims Annihilation leaker

Originally titled Avengers Infinity War Part 2, Avengers 4’s title has been a huge mystery for the last couple of years.

However, a couple of months ago, MCU Cosmic Editor Jeremy Conrad claimed a Marvel source had revealed the title to him as Avengers Annihilation.

This was swiftly confirmed by other Hollywood insiders, however, it’s not clear if this was always the title and if Disney will stick with it.

As now Conrad says he’s learned the Avengers 4 title has changed at least three times over the last year.

This was swiftly denied by Guardians director James Gunn in an interview, while the Russo Brothers couldn’t confirm or deny if Infinity War was the title in a chat with Collider.

Also, Conrad revealed he heard from his source that Avengers 4 was called Infinity Gauntlet for a lot of production.

However, it then seems the title was changed to Avengers End Game, as cinematographer Trent Opaloch listed it on his CV as such before changing it to Avengers 4.

After that, or at least around the time of that leak, the title is said to have changed to Annihilation.

But could it change again due to Conrad’s leak two months ago?

The leaker himself writes: “After the movie has gone through three titles over the last year, anything is possible. 

We’ll just have to wait and see what’s revealed when the first teaser trailer arrives very soon.”

Avengers 4 will be released in UK cinemas on April 26, 2019.
