Avengers: Endgame star speaks out on RETURN after death 'They tried to convince me'

During an appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, the Avengers favourite said her upcoming Black Widow solo movie brought her “closure” she needed after Endgame.

“’Cause I was kind of wiped out after that last one, emotionally and literally…” she said.

“There are very few certain things but definitely, death is pretty certain,” she added, dismissing theories Black Widow could yet return.

“But, people definitely don’t believe it and have tried to convince me that my character did not actually die. That may be, my character existed in an alternate universe.

“But no, death is a pretty final thing,” Johansson insisted.

Her comments follow speculation from fans that Black Widow didn’t actually die when she threw herself from the ledge in exchange for the Soul Stone, despite the fact the idea was already addressed in Avengers: Endgame.
