EXTRAORDINARY footage shows US woman swept metres into the air by BIZARRE wind gust

The strange incident was caught on security footage. It shows the young woman being thrown up into the air when a sudden strong wind gust erupts around her. Jasmine Joseph was trying to help her boss save a canopy from flying away during an unusually strong storm.

Around noon, she and her manager rushed outside when they saw their outside canopy flapping around in the wind.

How the posts broke loose in the first place is really remarkable considering they were anchored in concrete.

Ms Joseph was working at Happy Spirit Adult Day Care in the US city.

Ms Joseph told WTHR: ”I was just trying to be helpful or whatever and I decided to hold that part down while he was holding the other end.”

The young woman was then lifted up into mid-air by the high wind.

Luckily, she thought fast and landed on her feet.

Ms Joseph said: ”I realised that I can’t stop this from going so I need to let it go.

“I came right back down and I landed like this way.

“That’s why I end up not getting hurt.”

Ms Joseph’s manager, Briant Bradford said it was a mother nature double punch.

Mr Bradford said: ”By it raining the previous day, the soil was real soft and that wind was super strong.”

The adult day care worker said she walked away without a scratch.
