Game of Thrones shock: Sansa star Sophie Turner for this HUGE move after Season 8?

The star has today had her odds slashed on becoming the next so-called ‘Bond girl’, starring as the female lead opposite Daniel Craig in his final outing as 007.

At 22 years old, she is less than half the age of Craig, 50, but given Hollywood’s knack for casting women significantly younger than their male counterparts, it wouldn’t be a total curveball – although it would be divisive.

Coral bookmakers confirmed today Turner is second-favourite for the job, behind only Cara Delevingne.

“Sophie Turner is one of the most popular stars in film and television at the moment and with her buoyant comments about her career we think her next step could be a huge one,” a spokesperson for the bookies said.

“The role of Bond girl would certainly fit that bill.”

Her odds are currently 2/1, and she has also got odds of 2/5 to play Princess Diana in The Crown.

Delevingne remains the odds-on favourite for James Bond’s next companion, with 4/5 chances.

Other contenders include Megan Fox and Margot Robbie on 4/1, Emily Ratajkowski and Emilia Clarke on 5/1 and Emma Watson on 12/1.

Gal Gadot (16/1) and Mila Kunis (20/1) are also in the frame.

The next Bond movie will be Daniel Craig’s last – as confirmed by the man himself last summer.

It is expected to go into production later this year, ahead of an anticipated release in November 2019.

Meanwhile the eighth and final season of Game of Thrones will be out in the spring of next year.
