Kate Middleton: Duchess is summer chic in pale blue at Wimbledon 2019 men’s final
Kate Middleton and Prince William enjoyed their first joint outing of Wimbledon 2019 today. The Duchess of Cambridge donned a stylish blue dress for the occasion by designer Emilia Wickstead. The £1,390 powder blue number was in a 50s-style and fell below her knees to calf-length. It featured capped sleeves and was drawn in at the waist, emphasising her slim frame.
A small bow adorned the chest below her left collarbone – the only detailing on the otherwise plain yet stylish frock.
Kate accessorised the dress with her drop pearl earrings and sported a delicate watch on her left wrist.
Her large diamond and sapphire engagement ring given to her by the Duke of Cambridge also sparkled on the same hand.
On her feet, Kate opted for nude shoes with a chunky heel and ankle straps.
The mother-of-three held a small colourful clutch in her hand as well as a pair of dark sunglasses.
As ever, Kate kept her makeup natural while her luscious locks flowed in gentle waves around her shoulders in a loose style.
Meanwhile, Prince William donned a blue shirt and tie to match Kate’s ensemble.
The future King teamed this with a grey blazer, navy chinos and brown shoes.
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge met with senior figures from the All England Lawn Tennis Club this afternoon before watching Federer play.
Kate also attended the tennis yesterday and sat with her sister Pippa Middleton and Prince Harry’s wife, sister-in-law Meghan Markle.
The trio watched Serena Williams and Simona Halep play the Ladies’ Singles Final at The Championships.
The Duchess of Cambridge wore a long, green Dolce and Gabbana dress for the important international tennis event.
The emerald frock featured large gold buttons running from her throat to waist, embellishing the otherwise plain number.
Featuring a high neck the green dress also had slightly puffed short sleeves.
The chic number fell below her knees and skimmed her svelte figure as she cheerfully waved to bystanders and spoke to players ahead of the match.
In her hand, the Duchess held a small beige handbag while small gold hoop earrings adorned her ears.
