Meghan Markle: How the Duchess' thrifty new look has saved thousands in wardrobe costs
Not only is the Duchess opting for cheaper designs during her tour, she is likely to have saved thousands by re-wearing old garments.
During an official tour of Australia, Fiji and New Zealand last year, Meghan reportedly spent a staggering £117,100 in 16 days.
While on the tour, the Duchess wore £14,790 worth of clothes in just one day.
When Meghan went on a two-day tour of Ireland in 2018, her wardrobe reportedly cost an eye-popping £30,000.
However, she has opted for more affordable designs on her South Africa trip so far and her thrifty side could be saving her thousands.
