Melania Trump praised for TOUCHING tweet after White House event – ‘INCREDIBLE First Lady’

The First Lady tweeted the National Day of Prayer was an occasion to “cherish the freedom of religion”. Melania and her husband Donald attended the event at the White House where both gave speeches. The First Lady tweeted out on the day: “The President and I welcomed many influencers of faith in observance and celebration of the National Day of Prayer to the White House today.

“God Bless this great nation where we cherish the freedom of religion.”

The First Lady also released pictures of her leading the ceremony and a picture of her praying while Mr Trump took to the stage to deliver his own speech.

Following her speech, her husband congratulated her for ‘the great job” she has done as the First Lady.

Mr Trump also said: “People love you no matter where I go. They love you.”

However, it wasn’t just Mr Trump who praised Melania but on Twitter too where the First Lady was praised for the kind words.

Kathy Gosselin said: “Blessings to you, our incredible First Lady.”

Helen Louise Klinge also said: “God bless you and our President.

“Amazing service today. Thank you”

Following his wife’s remarks, Mr Trump took to the stage where he spoke of the recent attacks on his presidency.

The President has come under considerable pressure following the release of the Mueller report and the criticisms of attorney general, William Barr’s handling of the report’s findings.

The President said while also referencing Mike Pence: “People say, ‘How do you get through that whole stuff. How do you go through those witch hunts and everything else?’”

“And you know what we do, Mike? We just do it.

“And we think about God. That’s true.”
