New York HORROR as at least four shot in brutal Manhattan gun attack – shooter 'ACTIVE'

The New York Police Department have been called to East 112 Street and Third Avenue in Lower Manhattan. According to CBS2 a person is in custody at four people have been injured. In a breaking news broadcast, the show’s presenter said: “Right now what we know four people hurt don’t know severity of those injuries.

“One person is in custody question, four people shot extent of injuries not known in Manhattan

“We do believe at this point this is the only person police are looking for.”

They reported that a nearby school has also been put on lockdown.

PM Breaking News said police have requested a citywide hospital canvass for possible additional victims.

In footage published by the news outlet, dozens of ambulances and police cars can be seen on the scene.

Police have put a ‘Level 1’ responses following the shooting earlier today.

No details of the gunman have yet to emerge.

Reports from Fox News show the vehicles are all currently outside Thomas Jefferson House, where the shooting took place.

The station adds that one victim has been taken to Harlem Hospital and a their to St. Luke’s Hospital.

NBC New York has reported that one of the casualties is not expected to survive.

Police haven’t released any details about the ages of the victims or what condition they are in.

According to local reports, two 18 year olds and a 23-year-old were shot in East Harlem.

All three are now in a stable condition.

Sources suggest the shootings may be gang related.
