Avengers 4 LEAK: New Iron Man costume paying tribute to original?

Earlier this year Avengers Infinity War debuted Tony Stark’s Mark 50 Iron Man suit.

An incredibly advanced version, it boasted a nano tech formation and ability to mould weapons and abilities at will.

But now it looks like we’re getting another upgrade in Marvel‘s Avengers 4.

Recent concept art leaks has shown a pixelated version of the new suit and now a fan appears to have mocked up what it looks like thanks to the colour scheme.

Complete with golden arm and thigh plates, this suit is the colour scheme not only of the original suit from the first Iron Man movie 10 years ago, but also of the comic book character himself.

Aside from the colouring it’s likely the suit with be an updated version of Mark 50, improving on the nano tech already seen in Avengers Infinity War.

It’s important the most advanced suit harkens back to the original Iron Man look as Avengers 4 is likely to be the last and most important film for Robert Downey Jr’s Tony Stark.

The film will begin with the original Avengers line-up needing to find a way to reverse Thanos’ Snap, which claimed the lives of superheroes who will be leading the MCU’s future films.

Captain America and Iron Man are going to have to put their differences aside following the events of Civil War.

Avengers 4 directors the Russo Brothers have teased the resurrection of the dead characters will “come at an incredibly high cost”.

With this in mind perhaps Tony Stark will have to sacrifice himself to save his friends.

He’s the most obvious candidate since he’s the figurehead of the franchise, the mentor to Peter Parker and the character with a deep character development that has seen him move from selfish billionaire playboy to sacrificial father figure.

Let’s not forget that Doctor Strange traded the Time Stone for Tony’s life to ensure Endgame occurred – perhaps he needs him to die later on.

And what better way for Iron Man to bow out than to give up his life in exchange for those who died in Avengers Infinity War. But how?
