Ralph Breaks the Internet: How to watch the new Wreck-It Ralph 2 trailer online

Ralph Breaks the Internet is the second in the kid-friendly franchise to hit cinemas.

The sequel to Wreck-It Ralph, Ralph Breaks the Internet has big shoes to fill.

The 2012 original movie holds an 87 percent approval rating on Rotten Tomatoes.

A brand new trailer for Ralph Breaks the Internet hopes to drum up more anticipation ahead of its November release.

The sequel takes place six years after the events of Wreck-It Ralph, and Ralph (played by John C Rielly) and Vanellope (Sarah Silverman) are now friends.

The movie starts when the steering wheel controller on the Sugar Rush game console breaks which forces Mr Litwak to unplug the machine.

Wreck-It Ralph and Vanellope von Schweetz evacuate all of the Sugar Rush residents to other games before it is shut down.

They place the other racers in the care of Fix-It Felix Jr (Jack McBrayer) and Sergeant Tamora Jean Calhoun. (Jane Lynch).

Ralph and Vanellope use the arcade’s new connection to the Internet to go looking for a replacement steering wheel.

To find the replacement they need money which leads them to join a free-to-play violent racing game called Slaughter Race.

They meet Shank (Gal Gadot) and Vanellope is taken in by what Slaughter Race has to offer over Sugar Rush.

Shank becomes a big sister figure for Vanellope which makes Ralph concerned that Vanellope no longer looks up to him.

Worse, he is worried Vanellope won’t return to her game once they have the replacement wheel.

As the two make their way through the Internet they encounter new customs, worlds, and characters.

For the kids, all of the Disney Princesses appear including Cinderella, Aurora, Ariel, Belle, Jasmine, Pocahontas, Mulan, Tiana, Rapunzel, Merida, Anna, Elsa, and Moana.

For the adults in the audience, some of the new characters the pair meet are homages to existing (and older) Disney franchises.

In the trailer, if you look quickly, you can spot Stormtroopers from the Star Wars franchise, characters from Marvel Comics and The Muppets.

Mickey Mouse, Grumpy, Dumbo, Tinker Bell, Winnie-the-Pooh, Piglet, Tigger, Eeyore, Buzz Lightyear, Baymax, C-3PO, R2-D2, Yoda, and Iron Man will appear in the film.

They will feature alongside video game characters like Sonic the Hedgehog, a clear nod to the parents bringing their little ones to the cinema.
