Brigitte Macron wears bold red for to visit genocide memorial with Emmanuel in Armenia

Brigitte Macron, 65, held hands with her husband Emmanuel Macron, 40, as they approached the memorial, which remembers those killed in the Armenian Genocide of 1915.

Mum of three Brigitte wore a simple red shift dress for the visit which stopped just above her knees.

Adding height to her diminutive frame, Brigitte wore a pair of six inch black leather court shoes.

She added a pair of nude tights, ensuring her legs were not bare at the solemn occasion.

Over the top of the dress, Brigitte wore a chic black pea coat which she kept open.

Other than her huge engagement ring, the French ‘first lady’ wore no jewellery.

As it often is, Brigitte’s hair was styled in a chic bob which she had blowdried.

She kept her makeup simple, opting for heavy mascara and nude lipstick.

Standing by her side, Emmanuel wore a navy suit and matching navy tie.

Brigitte wore one of her preferred styles today – a simple shift dress in a bold colour. As one of the most photographed women in France, Brigitte has developed a simple, chic style.

Earlier this week, she wore a navy blue dress as she met with Chile’s President Sebastian Pinera and his wife Cecilia Morel.

The dress had a ’60’s air to it, featuring a high neck and A-line cut. Coming to just above her knees, the dress drew attention to Brigitte’s famous pins.

Adding some warmth to the ensemble, the sleeves featured white jersey material poking out of the the end of the sleeves. White jersey material in a turtle neck style was also around her neck.

On her feet, she wore a pair of navy blue classic court shoes, keeping the look understated and classic.

Last week, Brigitte hosted another stylish European in Paris – Queen Letizia of Spain, 46.

For the evening event, Brigitte wore a cream mini dress, showing off her famous legs and deep tan.

Structured and ’60’s-era in style, the stylish dress was tight fitted at the waist and had an A-line skirt. Keeping it demure, the 65-year-old’s dress had long sleeves and came to just above the knee.

Always adding an edgy element to her outfits, the simple cream dress featured a plunging neckline and high, turned-up collar.

She wore a comfortable-looking pair of black leather court shoes with a mid-to-high heel.
