There are still countries waiting for the movie to be released.

Germany has a release date of October 18, with Estonia following a day later.

Bolivia and the Czech Republic will see Johnny English Strikes Again on October 25.

The movie will be released in US cinemas on October 26.

Lastly, Japan will have to wait until November 98.

With these countries left to go, it may be a while until Johnny English Strikes Again becomes available online.

A film can take anywhere from three to eight months to end up on DVD or digital release.

Given its mixed reviews, the sequel will likely come to home entertainment sooner rather than later.

Johnny English Strikes Again begins with a cyber attack that reveals the identities of all active undercover agents in Britain.

As such, Johnny English – a luddite – is the secret service’s last hope.

With his inability to use technology and his lack of a smart-phone, English is the only spy who cannot be hacked.

He is called out of retirement and dives headfirst into action.

His mission is to find the mastermind behind the hack.

The official synopsis continues: “As a man with few skills and analogue methods, Johnny English must overcome the challenges of modern technology to make this mission a success.”

Despite the lacklustre response from critics, the movie may still appeal to those who yearn for Atkinson’s comedic talent, even if it seems wasted in this sequel.

His co-stars are equally famous and talented, from Emma Thompson as the Prime Minister to Ben Miller as the side-kick.

But even these talents seem incapable of lifting the film beyond its 38 percent Rotten Tomatoes rating.
