Peter Dinklage helped Jamie Dornan learn 50 Shades script by reading Dakota Johnson lines
The two actors star this weekend in HBO’s TV movie My Dinner with Hervé, about the later life of actor and James Bond villain Hervé Villechaize.
Dinklage stars as the French dwarf who was best known for playing Nick Nack in Sir Roger Moore’s The Man with the Golden Gun.
Meanwhile, Dornan plays Danny Tate, a struggling journalist who interviewed him.
And now it turns out that the Game of Thrones star helped Dornan learn his Fifty Shades movie lines by reading as Dakota Johnson on set.
Appearing on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert last night, Dinklage revealed: “I read some of the screenplay, though, in our dressing room.
“I went in, he had to do some reshoots for Fifty Shades and I would help him out learning lines.
“I would read the Dakota Johnson parts. I was just helping a friend learn lines. I nailed it. I really did.”
It turns out Dornan joined Dinklage at the Game of Thrones final season wrap party in Belfast earlier this year too.
Speaking at the BFI, Sir Roger said: “He was a very small man and he used to touch me and I used to say, ‘Don’t touch me. You are diseased.’
“I wasn’t being cruel about his size, it was just that he was a sex maniac. He had a lust for ladies, unnatural.”
My Dinner with Hervé will premiere in the UK on Sky Atlantic on Monday October 22nd at 9pm.
