Queen Letizia of Spain shows of newly dyed hair at Asturias Awards in gown worth thousands
Queen Letizia of Spain looked incredible in a heavily beaded gown tonight.
The mother-of-two is married to King Felipe VI of Spain, and was by her husband’s side tonight.
Letizia wore a dress by Spanish designer Felipe Varela.
The gorgeous number is a bespoke gown, but the a similar gown from the designer could cost up to €8.775 or £7,728.
Letizia attended the 38th edition of the Princess of Asturias Awards ceremony.
The lavish event was held at the Campoamor Teather in Oviedo, Asturias, northern Spain.
The Princess of Asturias Awards are given every year to personalities or organisations from all around the world who make significant achievements in the sciences, arts, literature, humanities and sports.
Her bag and shoes were both from Magrit. The clutch appeared to be a custom version of the Candy bag, which costs £159.22.
Letizia’s hair appeared to have been dyed a darker shade since earlier today.
However, a few silvery strands of grey were still visible.
The Queen wore a pair of diamond earrings she also wore yesterday evening at another glamorous event.
Letizia’s make up was dramatic, as she opted for a dark smokey eye and nude lip.
Last night Queen Letizia wore a £900 outfit and priceless diamond jewellery.
However, the stylist dress made a fashion faux pas when she appeared to accidentally flash a little of her Spanx underwear.
The gorgeous Spanish royal wore a new dress from Emporio Armani.

She added the suede slingback pumps from Carolina Herrera, which cost £280.
She appeared to be wearing the Mary bag from Magrit which costs £213.52.
Queen Letizia of Spain met Martin Scorsese recently in a sleeveless checked top which tied into a bow at the waist and skinny black jeans.

Career
Letizia was already famous in her native Spain thanks to a career as a TV presenter and journalist.
She even won an award for best Spanish journalist under 30 in 2002, just before she met King Felipe.
Wedding
Felipe and Letizia Ortiz, as she was called then, wed in 2004.
She wore a long-sleeved wedding dress with a 15 foot train by Manuel Pertegaz.
As is custom with royal weddings, Letizia wore a tiara. Her diamond and platinum Prussian tiara is a German imperial heirloom created in 1913 by Koch for Princess Victoria Louise of Prussia’s wedding to Prince Ernst August.
Family
Letizia is the eldest of three daughters, with her middle sister tragically taking her own life in 2007.
Now, Letizia has two daughters, Leonor, Princess of Asturias and Infanta Sofia of Spain. She is a hands on mum, taking the children to school and enjoying countless family holidays with them.
Divorce
Letizia has been married before, wedding Alfonso Guerrero, a teacher, in 1998.
However she did not require an annulment before her roman-catholic marriage to then Prince Felipe in 2004 as her marriage to Guerrero was a civil ceremony.
Plastic surgery
In 2008, Letizia underwent surgery on her nose to correct a respiratory problem, the Spanish palace confirmed at the time.
