Liverpool know they can leapfrog Manchester City at the top of the table with victory against the Gunners tomorrow with Pep Guardiola’s side in action on Sunday.

However, Arsenal are on a 12-game unbeaten streak, having won 11 of them before drawing with Crystal Palace last time out.

Victory for the fourth-placed Gunners at the Emirates would take them to within a point of the Reds.

Tomorrow’s match has a lot to live up to as the sides played out a thrilling 3-3 draw last time they met in north London.

Klopp on injuries

Jordan Henderson and Naby Keita will miss the trip to the capital with both still sidelined with injury.

Mohamed Salah will be fit to play but the midfield duo could even miss their Champions League clash with Red Star Belgrade next week.

“Hendo is really good but will start training at start of next week. Mo is nothing serious,” Klopp said.

“In football, a not too serious injury means two, three, four weeks (out) and in the Premier League that means 20 games if we are lucky! We didn’t have to rush it.”

Klopp on season so far

Jurgen Klopp says his only regret of the season so far was not beating Chelsea at the start of the season.

The Reds played out a 1-1 draw at Stamford Bridge in September but Klopp feels his side should have come away with maximum points.

Giving his assessment of the season so far, the German said: “We really should have won at Chelsea!

“My big assessment is: so far, so good – nothing else. A quarter of the season is nothing.

“We did what we had to do. As long as majority of boys are fit, we have a really good football team.

“We have grown together. We still like working together. We want to go for it together.

“It’s only the start, but the start is good. I don’t see it could have been massively better. Let’s carry on.

“Do the right things in right moment and play the best football you can play.”

Klopp on Arsenal

Klopp believes Arsenal are making good progress after parting with Arsene Wenger last season.

The Frenchman’s 22-year tenure in north London came to an end with Unai Emery tasked with taking the Gunners back to top of English football – and Klopp is expecting a tough match up.

“It’s always been a big challenge for us,” said Klopp.

“They are really strong. Unai Emery had a big task after what felt like 50 years of Arsene Wenger.

“He has done really well after a tough start. Impressive run.

“It will be a very, very interesting game for sure. It sure will!”
