Bohemian Rhapsody end credits: Is there a post-credits scene? Will there be a sequel?
Bohemian Rhapsody may be considered by some to be a superhero movie.
In many ways, Freddie Mercury was a superhero himself – large than life and capable of lifting total strangers out of despair simply through his music.
The film charts Freddie’s life, and the rise of the queen, up until the 1985 Live Aid show at Wembley.
But Mercury lived another six years and Queen made more even music after he was gone.
Is there a post credit scene? Could there be a sequel?
Strictly speaking, there is no post credit scene and will likely not have a sequel.
Though the movie stops in 1985, there are text cards which explains Mercury’s final years up to his death in 1991.
Those hoping for a sequel will be sorely disappointed.
However, for music fans sticking around through the credits may be worth it.
BOHEMIAN RHAPSODY: FREDDIE MERCURY BIOPIC RELEASE DATE, CAST, AND MORE
Don’t Stop Me Now finishes with video of the real band singing, so for Queen fans who never got to see them live, it may be worth waiting for.
Then The Show Must Go On plays as the credits roll.
Depending on what you wanted out of the biopic, you are either going to be thrilled or let down.
Those in the latter camp may have hoped for a more nitty-gritty look into Mercury’s life.
BOHEMIAN RHAPSODY REVIEWS: WHAT ARE CRITICS SAYING ABOUT THE BIOPIC?
There are plenty of documentaries which give an in-depth look into the frontman and the band.
But Bohemian Rhapsody was never meant to be a documentary, it is a fictitious retelling of a real story, with all the dramatic flair Mercury himself was fond of.
Die-hard music fans can get the soundtrack now.
The soundtrack doesn’t only include the eponymous song, it also includes Queen’s Live Aid performance.
When you purchase the soundtrack, you get Queen – not the voices used in the film.
