Spider-Man 2 Far From Home FIRST trailer release date: Marvel just gave a HUGE hint

The clock is ticking.

Today is 239 days from the release of Far From Home and eagle-eyed fans just spotted a major Miles Morales tease.

Does this reveal that the Spider-Man 2 first teaser or trailer is coming even sooner than we thought?

There is no doubt that the Avengers 4 trailer will arrive first, with everyone expecting it this month, most likely in the last week, but is Spider-Man 2 swinging into view straight after? 

Clever fans have pointed out that the countdown clock launched yesterday, which was 240 days from the film’s release on July 5 in the US.

Within the wider Spider-Man universe, that number also marks the final comicbook issue of Brian bendis’ iconic series featuring Miles Morales as the webbed wonder.

So what?

Well, Morales will make his own big screen debut in December in the hugely anticipated Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse animated movie, from sacked Han Solo directors Phil Lord and Chris Miller.

Major sites like ScreenRant have suggested this is a cheeky tease from Marvel.

The timing certainly fits for Far From Home to debut the first teaser trailer early in December so that it is then ready and raring to accompany the animated movie on the big screen.

There couldn’t be a more perfect combination of trailer and movie for Marvel fans.

Into the Spider-Verse is out in cinemas worldwide from Friday, December 14. This would mean the Far FromHome trailer is likely to arrive online any time that week, leaving a  comfortable gap of a few weeks after the furore that will no doubt surround the first Avengers 4 trailer.

There may be no remaining Marvel live action blockbusters for 2018, but the studio is making sure fans are kept satisfied right to the very end of its most successful year yet.
