Wolverine Deadpool movie: Hugh Jackman SPEAKS OUT on Ryan Reynolds’ plea for his RETURN

Last year Jackman starred in Logan, his ninth film in his X-Men Marvel role.

While he says he’s done with Wolverine and wants another actor to take him on, Reynolds has been trying to draw the Aussie star out of retirement.

The Deadpool actor is well aware that their characters clash in the comics and wants to bring them together on the big screen.

Now in a new interview, Jackman has responded to the possibility of a Deadpool Wolverine crossover.

Asked by People, Jackman said: “Oh, Wolverine will be back. Someone’s going to buy him, I don’t know.”

The host asked: “Not you though?”

The 50-year-old Aussie replied: “No, but Ryan is relentless

“He keeps coming back to me in all these ways, shapes and forms.”

Jackman continued: “I just said, ‘You know, I just don’t think the world really wants to see Deadpool with Wolverine.’

“Maybe a cameo from Deadpool? I just think it runs over it for Deadpool.”

The host asked jokingly: “His argument is he’d give a little boost to your career by putting you in a movie.”

The actor replied: “Oh, really? That’s nice of him. He’s throwing me a bone? Got it. You know that term, dag, I mentioned? A dag is a goofball in American. It’s a goof. You’re such a dag, Ryan!”
