Avengers 4 trailer release date: Huge news – Major screening this WEDNESDAY revealed

There have been numerous release date false alarms over Thanksgiving football and Black Friday but you don’t need Doctor Strange or the Time Stone to see that fans just need to hang on a few more days. Early predictions already corcled next Wednesday, November 28. It is a week before the release of the (until now)untitled Avengers 4 Prelude comicbook, which will obviously need a title. It also fits the previous dates for the first Avengers trailers of the last two films. And now news is spreading of a very special screening on the same day.

Collider is holding a special screening of Avengers: Infinity War in Hollywood next Wednesday evening, for 800 lucky competition winners.

The Russos will be attending and it is hard to imagibe a more perfect perfect place to also show the Avengers 4 trailer, with the directors on hand for soundbites to feed the subsequent internet frenzy. 

It is most likely that the trailer will debut on TV and then online earlier that day – if it follows usual patterns, it will be shown first on Good Morning America, accompanied by interviews with some of the cast.

Jeremy Conrad at MCU Cosmic has been very vocal in dismissing other previously rumoured dates and he is publicly speculating about only one possible day.

All the signs now point overwhelmingly to the 28th. The Avengers 4 Prelude comic will be released on December 5, so the trailer (and title) must drop before that date. 

Industry site Everything Always reported: “They’re not going to publish a prelude comic for a title-less comic. And since we know we’re not getting the Avengers 4 title before the trailer comes out it logically follows we’re going to be getting the trailer before that date.

“(The comic) is exactly one week after the day they released the Infinity War trailer last year, on November 29, the last Wednesday of that month.”

There is also the matter of previous patterns. The previous Russo brothers Avengers movies dropped their first trailers at exactly the same times.

The Avengers Captain America Civil War movie released its debut trailer on November 24, 2015. Infinity War followed the pattern on November 29, 2017.
