Queen Rania of Jordan attends her daughter’s Sandhurst commissioning parade – in pictures
Queen Rania of Jordan joined her family at The Royal Military Academy Sandhurst in Camberley, Surrey today.
The 48-year-old Queen and her husband Jordan’s King Abdullah, 56, arrived in the UK to watch the commissioning ceremony of their youngest daughter Princess Salma, 18.
The King and Queen posed for a picture with Her Royal Highness, who sported her military uniform, and their eldest children Crown Prince Hussein, 24, and Princes Iman, 22.
The royal couple are also parents to Prince Hashem, 13, who was not at the event.
The Jordanian Royal Family were seen smiling in the crowd as they watched the traditional parade.
Princess Salma, who recently graduated from high school, follows in the footsteps of her elder brother who graduated from the military academy last year.
Her father, the King, also began his military career at Sandhurst in 1980.
Queen Rania looked typically elegant and stylish at the event.
Her Majesty wore a long white coat with a black, red and gold design at the shoulders over a high-neck black dress.
Sweeping her hair away from her face the royal added a pair of drop earrings to her ensemble.
She teamed the outfit with a pair of coordinating white stilettos.
