Spider-Man Far From Home trailer ‘is coming THIS WEEK’ says Hollywood insider

And now Daniel R, who had the scoop of Captain Marvel and Avengers 4 trailer release dates, has confidently asserted that the Spider-Man Far From Home trailer will be here by Sunday.

He tweeted: “Trailer for Spider-Man: Far From Home is coming THIS WEEK!”

Now with Avengers 4 expected tomorrow – a trailer that will no doubt break internet records – it would be wise for Sony Pictures (who own Spider-Man) to hold back their trailer a couple of days.

So it’s certainly possible the Far From Home trailer could arrive on Friday.

Meanwhile, Brazil Comic Con Experience is happening this weekend, and the Sony panel is on Saturday, so that’s another window.

It was here last year that lucky fans were given the first glimpse of Spider-Man Homecoming a couple of days before the full trailer went public.

Another possibility is something similar will happen this year with a full trailer next week, however, Daniel R’s assertion sounds pretty confident.

Of course, some fans will argue that the Far From Home trailer shouldn’t launch yet since Spider-Man died in Avengers Infinity War and such a teaser wouldn’t be appropriate before knowing how he’s resurrected in Avengers 4.

Nevertheless, Spider-Man is owned by Sony Pictures and while he’s currently in Disney’s Marvel Cinematic Universe, Spider-Man Far From Home is their movie and such narrative concerns will not stop them from promoting it.

Spider-Man Into The Spider-Verse gets its first UK previews from Thursday, and the Far From Home trailer is expected to front it – but this may not be until the official release on December 14.

Especially considering the fact that the first Spider-Man Homecoming trailer arrived in December 2016 before its summer release and Far From Home is out next July.

Spider-Man Far From Home will be released in UK cinemas on July 5, 2019.
