Princesses Victoria and Sofia of Sweden stun at Nobel Prize event

Crown Princess Victoria of Sweden and Princess Sofia of Sweden looked incredible last night at the Nobel Prize banquet.

The beautiful princesses attended for the prestigious event, which was held in Stockholm City Hall, Sweden, in family tiaras and stunning gowns.

Their Royal Highnesses certainly made an entrance arriving at the annual banquet on the arms of two esteemed laureates.

Princess Victoria, 41, with American Chemistry laureate George P Smith, 77, and Princess Sofia, 34, with French Physics laureate Gerard Mourou, 74.

Crown Princess Victoria, who is heir to the Swedish throne, opted for a pink and silver strapless gown for the event.

A gold belt, which gathered into a bustle at the back with the pink fabric and flowers, nipped the dress in at the waist and emphasised her trim figure.

She wore a silver sash across her body and the family order pinned to her dress.

The mother-of-two completed her outfit with the delicate Connaught Tiara and a pair of coordinating diamond earrings.

Her stunning ball gown was previously worn by her mother Queen Silvia at a Nobel Prize ceremony in 1995.

The Queen of Sweden, 74, was also at last night’s event along with her husband King Carl XVI Gustaf, 72.

Her Majesty wore a green lace and satin gown for the event and took her seat on stage next to her husband of 42 years.

She wore the exquisite Queen Sofia’s Tiara which was made for Sofia of Nassau in around 1860.

Princess Sofia, who is married to Princess Victoria’s younger brother Prince Carl Philip, 39, chose a contrasting scarlet gown with dramatic long sleeves.

The stunning block colour dress featured a floor sweeping fishtail design that complimented her figure.

Her Royal Highness, who celebrated her birthday last week, wore a thick pearl choker and diamond and pearl tiara, which is believed to be the one she wore on her wedding day in 2015.
