Star Wars 9 teaser trailer on Xmas Day? Leak reveals FIRST look at Luke, Knights of Ren?

Everyone wants to know how and if Luke Skywalker will be back.  Episode IX won’t hit cinemas until Christmas next year, but a recent report raised excitement that fans would get their first look this Xmas. Making Star Wars posted an eyewitness account of a new advert being filmed at Disney World: “During one of the cut scenes, the actors on the stage said very clearly, ‘and stay tuned for a first new look at a galaxy far, far away!” This follows a report from Collider to expect something huge this month and now leaked details have emerged. 

Steve Weintraub of Collider posted: “To those wondering, December is ALWAYS a huge month for new trailers. If you’re a Disney fan, you can look forward to the first footage from Frozen 2 and Star Wars episode 9 this month.

“Would be shocked if both aren’t revealed by December 25th.”

An in depth description of the Star Wars teaser claims the Knights of Ren will finally make their first proper appearance, as well the new characters played by Dominic Monaghan and Naomi Ackie.

But what about Luke? 

As always take all leaks with a large pinch of salt, but at least this one will hopefully be verified one way or another by the end of this month.

The leak said: “One short is described of Kylo Ren and his Knighs of Ren walking in the woods at night with the bright moon in the background.

“Another of Poe and Finn riding horses with the Millennium Falcon flying over their heads towards a large building on a grassy world. There is a snippet of Rey holding the Skywalker lightsaber reforged in both hands.”

“Dialogue of Kylo Ren plays over the footage in a similar way to how Snoke played over the first trailer for The Last Jedi. A first look at Leia on the bridge to a massive ship with crew behind her with a bright light playing over their faces which could indicate a big explosion.

One of the shots consists of Lando Calrissian inside the Falcon taking out TIEs. And finally a shot of Dominic Monaghan and Naomi Ackie’s characters guarding a large building on the same grassy world.”

And that’s it. No scenes with Luke have been described for this teaser trailer.
