Aquaman streaming: How to watch Aquaman online – Is it legal?

Aquaman is poised to break the chain of flops Warner Bros has been accustomed to. Joining the ranks of Wonder Woman, Jason Momoa’s Aquaman has performed well critically. The underwater superhero movie has also done well at the box office, raking in profits beyond expectation. Fans in the UK can head to the cinema now to see it and may also want to stick around through the credits.

Can you watch Aquaman online?

Some fans may not want to brave the cold to queue up at the cinema.

Unfortunately for them, Aquaman is not available to watch online as yet.

Any website claiming to have a stream or download of the film is illegal, so tread carefully.

Where Aquaman will end up – be it Netflix, Amazon Prime, NOW TV, or anywhere else – remains to be seen.

Other DC Comics adaptations are streamable on a variety of platforms.

Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice is currently housed on Netflix.

However, Wonder Woman and The Justice League are both on NOW TV.

Aquaman’s success means it may have a longer cinematic run than initially planned.

From the point the movie leaves cinemas, it can take anywhere from three to eight months for a home entertainment release.

Once the film is available on DVD, Blu-ray and digital download, it can then take a number months to arrive on a streaming site, if it does at all.

With studios moving towards in-house streaming sites, Warner Bros may make the same leap as Disney.

No official home entertainment release date has been given for Aquaman.

The official plot for Aquaman reads: “Arthur Curry discovers that he is the true ruler to the underwater kingdom of Atlantis.

AQUAMAN: WHO IS THE VILLAIN IN THE AQUAMAN MOVIE?

“Now he must leave his old life behind to become a hero, keeping not just his underwater city at peace but the whole world.

“Taking place after the events of the Justice League, Arthur must prevent an over world invasion of his underwater city.

“He must keep his own people under control too, or they may decide to take the battle into their own hands and take the fight above the sea.”

Heading to cinemas is worth it for Aquaman, a movie whose visuals are impressive.

Aquaman is currently playing in IMAX, both in 2D and Real 3D, for fans who want a fully immersive experience.
