The movie is still rolling out across cinemas, but Thursday night previews have been promising for its earnings. Having garnered such an enthusiastic response from fans and critics, Into the Spider-Verse will likely smash its predicted profits.

“Recalling the notable soundtrack, many fans are asking about the titles of songs in the film and calling out Sunflower and other music tracks which spurred them to watch the trailer and clips again.

“Finally, for those who have seen early screenings, they’re saying the film reviews and super-positive buzz are all real, and audiences should stay until the end of the credits.”

Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse is the seventh iteration of the superhero from Sony.

Collectively, the previous six Spider-Man films have made £3.9 billion ($4.9b) worldwide.

Variety estimated Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse could earn upwards of £31.8m ($40m) over its debut weekend.
