Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall looks pretty in pink as she opens new ambulance airbase
Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall looked pretty in pink yesterday for a day of royal engagements in Wiltshire.
The Duchess, 71, arrived at Outmarsh Farm in Semington to officially open a new purpose-built Wiltshire Air Ambulance’s airbase.
Her Royal Highness was greeted by Sam Pothecary and presented with a posy of flowers by Mia Burry, four, who was saved by the Air Ambulance when she was four weeks old and struggling to breathe.
Prince Charles’ wife, who is patron of the Wiltshire Air Ambulance Charitable Trust, met with staff and emergency crew members during her royal visit.
The Duchess of Cornwall wore a pale pink coat with red piping around the collar, over a dark paisley shirt dress and a pair of black suede boots on Friday.
Her Royal Highness wore her hair in it’s signature style and added a pair of simple and elegant pearl earrings to her outfit.
The Duchess of Cornwall later visited the Lackham Campus of Wiltshire College and University Centre in Lacock to launch its new £9 million campus development project.
There she met with students in the science labs and witnessed a driverless tractor demonstration.
Camilla’s outing took place on the same day as Clarence House revealed the official christmas card to be sent out on behalf of the Prince of Wales and the Duchess of Cornwall.
The card shows a picture of the royal couple sitting on a bench in the grounds of Clarence House looking lovingly into each other’s eyes.
It was taken by Hugo Burnand on the same day as the family portrait which was released to mark the Prince’s 70th birthday last month.
Kensington Palace also released images featured on the royal Christmas cards of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and the Duke and Duchess of Sussex this year.
