Avengers Endgame Trailer How It Should Have Ended lampoons teaser's BIGGEST problem WATCH
Earlier this month the first Avengers Endgame trailer became the most watched trailer online in its first 24 hours ever, with over 289 million views. And now How It Should Have Ended, has done their very own send-off of the Marvel teaser. Apart from Ant-Man’s arrival at Avengers HQ, Captain America and Black Widow are joined by a whole host of characters from the X-Men and Blade to Ghost Rider, the Defenders, Deadpool and even Mission Impossible’s Ethan Hunt – who of course let himself in. Hilariously the Fantastic Three are at the door since Captain America star Chris Evans played Human Torch in the noughties films.
The roster then gets very silly will the Incredibles, RoboCop and Space Ghost arriving, alongside Kingdom Heart’s Sora and Donald Duck, the Star Wars prequel B1 battle droids and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle Donatello.
And in true How It Should Have Ended fashion, Batman and Superman offer their assistance but Cap just asks them to save a really big booth for them to reflect on their victory at the end of Avengers Endgame.
But then Cap amusedly points out that he will be the one to save the seats if he’s in fact sent back in time at the end of the movie – as we reckon he will be.
But the video’s cleverest joke is right at the end when it reenacts the scene in the trailer where Black Widow says: “This is going to work Steve.”
To which Captain America replies: “I know it is because I just heard about the new Spider-Man trailer and he’s not dead.”
Marvel fans will know Spider-Man died in Avengers Infinity War, but his second solo movie Spider-Man Far From Home will be released three months after Avengers Endgame.
In fact, the trailer for the film set moments after Avengers 4, which showed Spidey alive and well, was shown at Brazil Comic Con earlier this month.
So it’s amusing to know for sure that the Avengers will resurrect the dead in Endgame before we even see the movie.
The first trailer for Spider-Man Far From Home is likely to arrive in the next few weeks.
It’s rumoured that originally Disney wanted Sony Pictures to hold back the film until 2020, so the trailer wouldn’t spoil Avengers Endgame.
However, Sony insisted on a 2019 release, which is why it’s arriving just two years after Spider-Man Homecoming.
Avengers Endgame is released on April 26, 2019 and Spider-Man Far From Home will follow in July.
