Bohemian Rhapsody played by Buckingham Palace Royal Guards after Golden Globes win – WATCH

On Sunday evening the film world was shocked to see the surprise award wins for Bohemian Rhapsody. The Freddie Mercury movie took home Golden Globes for both its nominations in the Best Drama Picture and Best Drama Actor categories. And to celebrate The Queen’s Band of the Grenadier Guards performed the iconic title track outside Buckingham Palace. On Monday tourists walking by watched on and recorded the special moment, with one video getting over 67,000 views on Twitter.

Bohemian Rhapsody surprised Hollywood with its two wins at the Golden Globes because A Star Is Born and Bradley Cooper were expected to pick up the gongs.

Of course, such a surprise means Oscars predictions may look a little more different now.

While nominations won’t be announced until January 22, it’s highly likely that Rami Malek, Bradley Cooper and Vice’s Christian Bale will be contenders in the Best Actor category.

And it looks like the Freddie Mercury star might just take the Oscar, seeing as every Golden Globe winner in his category has gone on to do so since 2013.

As for if Bohemian Rhapsody can take the Best Picture Oscar, it looks like a tougher race there.

Aside from A Star Is Born there’s Green Book, which won Best Musical/Comedy Picture at the Golden Globes.

While Marvel’s Black Panther could just score the Academy Award too.
